The presidential debates are undemocratic.

We only get one chance every four years to fix that.

This is our chance.

Fix the Debates is an effort to bring fairness and
openness into the U.S. presidential debate process.

Please call the “Commission” at 202-872-1020 to ask that they fulfill their mission statement–“to ensure that debates, as a permanent part of every general election, provide the best possible information to viewers and listeners”–and to respect the will of the people, 76% of whom want all qualified candidates to be included in the debates.

Once you’re done calling the main office, you can start calling individual board members at their offices and homes using the full CPD board member contact info listed here. Please be polite and persistent.

The first debate is scheduled for September 26th.
If we don’t get the CPD to change their ways, democracy will be undermined in… [wpdevart_countdown text_for_day=”Days” text_for_hour=”Hours” text_for_minut=”Minutes” text_for_second=”Seconds” countdown_end_type=”time” end_date=”12-08-2016 23:59″ start_time=”1471024185″ end_time=”45,7,8″ action_end_time=”hide” content_position=”center” bottom_distance=”10″ ][/wpdevart_countdown]

It's not democracy without open debates.
